Our congratulations to Mayura Rupatunga, CMA (ANZ), Executive Director/CEO Central Industries PLC on receiving the National business excellence award in the Gold category for the construction sector, awarded by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka and winning the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries’ Top Ten Award in the Extra-large category of the manufacturing sector for the year 2022, as well as a National Level Merit Award for the year 2022 are the most recent inspiring accomplishments.
Mr. Mayura Rupatunge, CEO of Central Industries PLC, was appointed to the Director Board in 2020. He joined Central Industries PLC as General Manager and has been associated with the Company since 2016.
He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Peradeniya as well as the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Colombo. Also, he is a Certified Management Accountant (ANZ) and he is professionally and academically qualified in the fields of Manufacturing, and Management including Finance and Administration.
Having spent almost 25 years in his profession, he has gained extensive experience in the manufacturing sector while holding positions at The Ceylon Brewery PLC, The Lion Brewery PLC, Macson Mesh Industries (Pvt) Ltd, and The Lalan Group of Companies, in addition to the construction industry.
Mr. Rupatunge is a visionary leader and has transferred the organization to new heights through boundless passion, commitment, and strength. He is the driving force behind the well-known PVC brand ‘NATIONAL PVC’ Pipes and Fittings, KRYPTON Electrical Switches and Accessories, and Aquatec Pipes and Accessories, which are renowned superior quality brands in the construction-related industry.
His transformational leadership style inspires his team to go above and beyond expectations, making it possible for the Central Industries PLC team to set benchmarks with numerous significant achievements.

There are four stages in the ICMA Graduate Management Accountant programme, with four subjects in each stage. Stage Four of the graduate management program which has multiple – graduate, professional and postgraduate entry points is considered as the Graduate Conversion Programme. Candidates will be required to complete up to four subjects in different combinations depending on their respective entry qualifications.
